FairChores is a household chore splitting app designed to help users manage people, chores, workload levels, random assignment, fair splitting, roulette selection, and saved split results. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
FairChores does not require account registration, login, or cloud synchronization. The app does not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials.
Any names, chore titles, workload settings, categories, difficulty levels, saved results, or QR sharing content that you enter into the app are stored locally on your device.
FairChores stores app data locally on your device so that the app can remember your people list, chore list, workload settings, saved split results, language preference, and related app settings.
This data is not uploaded to our own servers. If you delete the app or clear the app data from your device settings, locally stored data may be deleted.
FairChores may allow you to share a split result or board-related information using a QR code. QR codes are generated on your device based on the information you choose to share.
A QR code may contain information such as participant names, chore names, assigned chores, workload-related information, or split result text. Only share QR codes with people you trust.
FairChores does not upload QR code content to our own servers.
FairChores may display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain information, such as device identifiers, approximate location, app activity, or advertising-related data, in accordance with Google's own policies.
You can learn more about how Google uses data from apps that use its services here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
FairChores may use third-party services or libraries for app functionality, analytics-free local features, QR code generation, and advertising. These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.
Third-party services used by the app may include:
FairChores may request only the permissions needed for its features. For example, internet access may be used to load ads. The app does not require account access or cloud storage access.
If future versions add optional QR scanning or similar features, camera access may be requested only for that purpose.
FairChores does not sell your personal information. Locally stored app data is not shared with us unless you choose to export, share, or transmit it using your device's sharing features.
Advertising partners such as Google AdMob may process advertising-related data as described in their own policies.
FairChores is a general household utility app and is not specifically directed to children. The app may be used by families to organize chores, but children should use the app with appropriate supervision from a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
FairChores stores user-created app data locally on the device. Please keep your device secure and avoid sharing QR codes or exported data with people you do not trust.
