LangBridge is a language learning application designed to help users practice vocabulary, sentences, listening, speaking, travel phrases, and learning progress across multiple languages. This Privacy Policy explains how LangBridge handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

LangBridge is designed to work without requiring a user account. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect personal information such as your full name, address, phone number, or account credentials.

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

• Your display name or nickname entered during onboarding or in settings.
• Your selected base language and learning language.
• Your lesson progress, completed lessons, mistakes, review items, and favorites.
• Your app preferences and learning-related settings.

This information is stored locally on your device and is used to personalize your learning experience.

2. Microphone and Speech Features

LangBridge may request microphone access for speaking practice or pronunciation-related features. Microphone access is used only when you actively start a speaking or voice practice feature.

LangBridge does not store your voice recordings on our own servers. Speech recognition or text-to-speech functionality may rely on services provided by your device, operating system, or installed speech service provider. The handling of speech data by those services is governed by their own privacy policies and settings.

3. Local Storage

LangBridge stores learning progress and preferences locally on your device. This allows the app to remember your progress, selected languages, and learning history.

If you uninstall the app or clear the app data from your device settings, locally stored data may be deleted.

4. Advertising

LangBridge may display advertisements, such as banner ads, through Google AdMob or similar advertising services. Advertising partners may collect or use certain information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, and diagnostic information to provide, measure, and improve ads.

During development or testing, LangBridge may use test advertisements instead of live ads.
