GapTime is a lightweight Android app designed to help users make better use of short waiting times by recommending small actions based on available time and current context. This Privacy Policy explains how GapTime handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

GapTime does not require account registration, login, or personal identification. The app is designed to work without collecting directly identifiable personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or account credentials.

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

• Your selected app language.
• Your default recommendation duration and context settings.
• Favorite actions saved by you.
• Completed action history.
• Local app preferences used to improve your in-app experience.

This information is stored locally on your device and is not sent to our own servers.

2. In-App Content and Sessions

GapTime may provide in-app action sessions such as word review cards, short reading prompts, quotes, breathing guides, stretching steps, and simple action guidance. These sessions are generated from built-in app content and do not require uploading personal information.

If you mark an action as completed, that completion may be saved locally in the app history on your device.

3. Advertising

GapTime uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob may collect and process certain device and usage information to provide, measure, and improve advertising services. This may include information such as device identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, advertising performance data, and diagnostic information, depending on your device settings and Google’s advertising policies.

4. Local Data Storage

GapTime stores app data locally using Android local storage technologies. This may include favorites, history, and settings. This data remains on your device unless you delete it, clear the app data, or uninstall the app.

GapTime does not provide cloud backup or account-based synchronization.

5. Permissions

GapTime may request or use network access for displaying advertisements through Google AdMob. The app does not require access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, calendar, or files for its core features.

6. Third-Party Services

GapTime uses third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies. The main third-party service used by the app is:
