LeftoverMix is a lightweight offline-first app that helps users find simple recipe ideas based on ingredients they already have at home. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
LeftoverMix does not require account registration and does not ask users to provide personal profile information.
We do not collect:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Contacts
- Precise location
- Camera, microphone, or media files
- Health, nutrition, allergy, or medical information
2. Local Data Stored on Your Device
LeftoverMix may store some app-related data locally on your device to provide core features, such as:
- Selected ingredients
- Recent ingredient selections
- Favorite recipes
- Basic app preferences, such as language settings if available
This data is stored locally on your device and is used only to make the app work properly. It is not uploaded to our server.
3. Offline-First Operation
The main recipe matching functionality of LeftoverMix works offline. Recipe data and recipe images are bundled with the app or stored locally. The app does not use online recipe search, cloud sync, user accounts, or backend recipe generation.
4. Advertising
LeftoverMix may display banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or process certain information such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interaction data, and diagnostic data in accordance with Google's own policies.
Advertising is used only to support the app. The app remains usable without clicking ads.

5. Third-Party Services

LeftoverMix is designed to request only minimal permissions necessary for app operation and advertising. The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location permissions.
7. Food and Recipe Disclaimer
LeftoverMix provides general food combination and recipe suggestions. It is not a medical, nutrition, allergy, diet, or food safety advisory service. Users are responsible for checking ingredient freshness, allergies, dietary restrictions, and safe cooking practices.
8. Children's Privacy
LeftoverMix is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Data Security
Since LeftoverMix does not operate user accounts or upload personal recipe data to our own servers, most app data remains on the user's device. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
