This Privacy Policy explains how TinySteps (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the TinySteps mobile application.

1. Overview

TinySteps is a task management app designed to help users break larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps. The App is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require users to create an account, log in, or provide personal profile information to use the App.

2. Information You Provide

The App may allow you to enter task-related information, such as task titles, categories, notes, steps, progress, and other task details. This information is stored locally on your device to provide the App’s core functionality.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the App unless you are comfortable storing it on your own device.

3. Local Storage

TinySteps stores your task data locally on your device. This may include:

• Tasks and task titles
• Task categories
• Task steps and completion status
• App preferences, such as language or theme settings

We do not operate a cloud account system for TinySteps, and we do not use our own servers to collect or store your task data.

4. Advertising

TinySteps may display advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or use certain information, such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app interactions, approximate location, and diagnostic information, in accordance with Google’s policies and your device settings.

5. Permissions

The App itself does not request access to sensitive device features such as camera, contacts, microphone, phone, SMS, or precise location for its core task-management functionality.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your locally stored task data with third parties.

Third-party services such as Google AdMob may process data as described in their own privacy policies.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Task data remains stored on your device unless you delete it within the App, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App or clearing app data may remove locally stored tasks and preferences from your device.

8. Children’s Privacy

TinySteps is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review the issue.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures to keep the App functional and secure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your own device.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
